This first example is a recent piece of work of which I am very proud...for the most part. I was hired by the owner as the voice of the GEO Vineyard. I branded the GEO experience with the tag line, "Don't forget to breathe," and I wrote the content and the guest quotes (the guest quotes are in orange on the left-hand side of each page). Unfortunately, the project manager preferred to add superfluous wording in an attempt to boost SEO*. In the end, I am less than happy with the edited content but am pleased with what we accomplished, as a team, overall. Most of the content does remain as I originally wrote it, and the tasting room page is a prime example. I like the look of these pages, but I would remove the colored linking text as it does little to aid navigation and instead interferes with the professional, clean appearance of the pages.

*SEO has come a long way, and it is now much more important to have a respected, backlinked page than it is to build pages stuffed with keywords and wordy content. Focusing on streamlined quality and user friendliness will lead to the results you are seeking.

The original copy for iTrix Media was written by its owners who are not native English speakers. Therefore, the information was there, the charm had been attempted, but everything needed a great deal of polishing.

As a Christian writer, it was an honor and a privilege to update the eSword tutorial for the 2011 edition. This was unlike my usual projects as the original tutorial was over 100 pages long and had numerous screen shots and graphics that were outdated by the new eSword version. I learned the new program from scratch and updated the content and 100% of the screen shots accordingly.

Wes Sivley of Wes Sivley, Inc. trusted me with his resume, bio and brochure. His business branding was my kick-off branding project.

I am very proud of the work I have done for Capital Hospitality Management. It was such a privilege to write the content of this website from the ground floor and to research this business model from a place of zero original knowledge. I now feel like I know the Patels, and their business, inside and out. It would be an honor to work for CHM in the future. To view the CHM website, click here.

The owner of this site provided me with draft text that included all of the basic information. It was my job to re-write the content to ensure it was error-free, polished, and highly professional. I also had no preexisting knowledge of the tuning business, and I enjoyed learning through this process. I consider rewriting to be my specialty, and I highly enjoy the process of taking needed and technical facts and presenting them in a way that is accessible to the consumer. I re-wrote this site for a webmaster client. The original text was informative, but it did not read well. I removed the confusion, corrected grammar, and added text where necessary. For the online copy, click here.

I wrote the content of this maternity clothing site entirely from scratch. The client wanted articles instead of the more predictable and brief clothing descriptions. The articles are SEO conscious, as per client instruction, containing all of the obvious LSI.

The client has been very happy with the web traffic he has received thus far. For the complete web content, please click here.
